Trauma II

Level III: Moving Beyond Trauma

This training is being postponed due to the COVID-19 Omicron outbreak and will be offered starting in late 2022, date TBD.

In Dharma of Trauma Level 3, you’ll learn trauma-informed movement techniques and interventions that allow clients to regulate their emotions and process trauma safely in the somatic nervous system. We’ll also explore gentle, trauma-sensitive micromovement interventions that you can use to both resource your clients and somatically process their trauma memories; these intrinsic and subtle movement impulses are essential tools for supporting clients to metabolize trauma experiences in a safe and contained way. Another important focus in Level 3 is looking at ways to expand the emotional and relational capacity of both the client and trauma therapist/practitioner.
