stream1Hakomi is a highly effective and creative method for working with individuals, couples, families, groups, movement, and body work.

While primarily developed as a psychotherapeutic modality, Hakomi has continued to evolve in its applications. Because Hakomi attends to the very nature of being human, it is easily and effectively adapted to many other professions and settings.

Our graduates come from a wide spectrum of professions including psychotherapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, social workers, coaches, nurses, doctors, surgeons, dentists, lawyers, financial counselors, business managers,  organizational consultants, yoga instructiors, acupuncturists, chiropractors, bodyworkers and masseurs. 

Among the many disparate arenas in which Hakomi principles and techniques have been applied have been in counseling, coaching, employer/employeee relations, mediation, ethics, creativity issues, theater arts, dance, poetry, naturopathy, acupuncture, parenting, gender issues, politics, corporate relations, sports performance, hospice, and spiritual issues and practice.
